Strawberry Patch

Today,
We Gathered..and talked with friends..Kyle super excited to find this huge strawberry! These are organic, go ahead and taste! There is something more than food to be gained from gathering...a satisfying feeling for more than our bellies...
there is time to run and feel your toes in the breeze
To watch a turtle on his way to pick strawberries too I'm watching my oldest grow more beautiful by the day...
Ofcourse there's time for mud play near the pond too!

Kyle exploring the muddy bank..
and proud of his contributionThis day's harvest..will be turned into smoothies and strawberry shortcakes as soon as we're home!

A turtle in the strawberry patch? What fun!

And yes, quite a beauty your oldest is (and all the other youngers).

I am going to find a strawberry farm, this is something my girls would enjoy too. Are you going to make strawberry jam???

What a wonderful way to spend the day - beautiful children in a really lovely setting.

Owen always leave the strawberry patch with sticky fingers and red blotches down the front of his shirt.... good times.

We've got a couple more weeks to wait :0)

Those look delicious! You should make strawberry cake or jam :) We have to wait until July to pick local strawberries. And your children are beautiful!
