We Picnicked
like birds
and climbed like lizards 
we observed a northern water snake 
as it caught a toad
and the creek was full of them!
because it's mating season
see the strand of eggs?
So we didn't disturb them for long,there was plenty more to discover
like hearts for Mama

and plantlife
